VISION EXPLAINED

God created man in His own image (Genesis 1:26) and placed him in the garden of Eden (Genesis 2:15). One of the main purposes of God creating man was to “have dominion) on the entire creation (Genesis 1:26-27). Man, however lost the game in having dominion over the creation when he sinned against God (Genesis 3:1-19). Sin however robbed man the confidence to approach God (Genesis 3:7-10), threw man into a death sentence and condemnation (Romans 3:23; 5:12)

Due to this, God in His love however, decided to solve this problem once for all, so He chose to become man by being born like us (Isaiah 7:14), experience what we all go through, then finally to die on the cross on our behalf (John 3:16). His death on the cross was a final blow to Satan and all the authorities and evil powers (Colossians 2:14-15).

The lost dominion was therefore handed back to mankind on the cross by Jesus when He said “it’s finished” (John 19:28). Men however have a responsibility of accepting Jesus by declaring that Jesus is Lord and believing in their hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead (Romans 10:9-10).

Every believer is a child of God (John 1:12) and must have a desire to work out their salvation in fear and trembling (Philippians 2:13). Our desire is therefore to know Christ and help others know him too and become like Him (Philippians 3:10).

MISSION

If you love someone you will always seek to be with them, right? You will create time to be with them and everywhere you go you will tell friends and people about the one you love. In the same way, if you love Christ, you cannot avoid sharing to others about Him.

God’s Altar’s Ministries’ mission is to share the love of Christ to everyone regardless of age and status. We desire to demonstrate the love of the one in us, for He is greater than the one in the world (1John 4:4).
